Wedding Cakes +
Yes, we offer consultations for all weddings with 60 or more guests. During the appointment you’ll meet with one of our wedding cake consultants to discuss style and design, sizing options, flavor combinations and pricing. Plus, you’ll get to sample cake!
We schedule all appointments over the phone. When you schedule, a $25 appointment deposit is due. This deposit can be applied to your final order. If you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, please do so at least 24 hours in advance.
Samples are prepared using flavors that we have baked fresh each day. We present at least four different combinations of cake and filling as well as both of our buttercreams and our rolled fondant.
Wedding cakes are priced per serving. The per serving price is based on several factors including complexity of the cake design, additional decorative elements (such as fondant work, hand-made sugar flowers, etc.) and flavor selections.
A good timeframe to allow for planning, deciding and ordering your wedding cake is to have your initial consultation four to six months in advance of the event, and to have the order placed at least six to eight weeks prior to the event date.
Given the many variables involved in a wedding cake order, we don’t give specific price quotes via phone or email. We can provide you with general information such as base pricing and/or average pricing for certain types of design elements.
Because our cakes are custom decorated for each wedding couple, the majority of the labor is in the design of the cake, which does not change regardless of whether the cake or cake tier is real or faux.
There are lots of options! We can do anything from a non-traditional or thematic cake to a dessert table complete with assorted pastries, cookies, tarts, cupcakes and cake pops. We’ll help you plan it out, just bring your ideas to the consultation!
Party Cakes +
Do I need an appointment to order a party cake?
You don’t. We have an experienced customer service team available to assist with party cake orders during our regular business hours. They will help with everything from design ideas to sizing options as well as with flavor recommendations and pricing. Scheduled appointments are available, though not required, for parties of 100 or more guests ordering multi-tiered or sculpted cakes.
How are your party cakes priced?
Single-tier, sculpted and multi-tier cakes are priced per serving. All party cakes include basic decorative elements. Specialty designs, fondant work and custom drawings are priced separately based on the complexity of the decor.
Can I get a quote over the phone or email?
Given the many variables involved in a custom cake order, we don’t give specific price quotes via phone or email. We can provide you with general information such as base pricing and/or average pricing for certain types of design elements.
Pastries & Desserts +
How are your treat items priced?
All items are priced per piece. Pricing varies depending on the type and size of each item.
Do you give by-the-dozen pricing or a discount for bulk orders?
We do have a by-the-dozen price for our traditional cookies and cupcakes. Other items are priced per piece and are not discounted based on quantity.
Do you have a minimum order quantity?
For almost all of our treat items you can order as few or as many pieces as you would like. There are a select few specialty flavor and decorated items that do require a minimum order.
Which treat items are customizable?
Our cupcakes, cake pops, French macarons, sugar cookies and petit fours can be custom decorated. Specialty designs on these items do require an advance order with the same timing guidelines as ordering a custom cake.
Do you have cakes and desserts available for purchase in the store?
Yes! We are a full-service bakery with a variety of cakes, pastries and desserts made fresh daily and available for you to purchase in both shops.
How do I place a custom order?
Orders can be placed in the bakery or over the phone. We suggest placing custom decorated orders in the bakery, if possible. It’s critical to capture the specific details involved in a custom design – this is easiest to do when we’re talking face to face. No email or voicemail orders please.
When do I need to have a custom order placed?
Given the variability of demand, we never know exactly when we will reach our order capacity. As such, we suggest placing custom decorated orders one to two weeks in advance. Please place pastry and orders at least two days in advance. Often we are able to accommodate orders with a closer timeframe, so if you need a cake with short notice, please ask about availability.
Why is there a lead time required for a custom order?
We bake from scratch and everything we create is made by hand in small batches. This means our cakes and baked goods require time for planning, baking and decorating.
Do you offer parties or classes at your bakery?
We offer parties in our Yorba Linda Location. Information on our party packages is available here.
Do you deliver?
We offer delivery with advance scheduling. Delivery rates are based on mileage from the bakery to the event location.
Do you ship?
Currently we do ship some of our products. Give us a call if you have an inquiry.
Do you rent cake stands and display pieces?
We do! We have a wide variety of stands, cake plateaus, platters and other display items available for rent. Our collection includes traditional, rustic, vintage and modern pieces. Rental prices range from $5-$50 per item and require a refundable deposit which is reimbursed when the stand(s) is returned.
Do you offer set-up at my event?
Cake deliveries include set-up of the cake on the presentation table. This does not include the application of fresh flowers or other embellishments that you would like added to the cake at the location. We offer stylized set-up of dessert tables as well as on-site cake design for an additional fee.
Do you offer any items for those with dietary restrictions (vegan, sugar-free, gluten-free, etc)?
We offer a variety of French macarons made without gluten. We also make several flourless pastry items as well as an eggless chocolate cake. Many of our flourless items are available in the store, and all are available with advance order.
Do you operate an allergen-free facility?
We bake the old fashioned way with extensive use of nuts, flour (gluten) and dairy. We are very careful in our production process to avoid crossover of raw materials. However, none of our products can be guaranteed as allergen-free.
Will you bake or develop a recipe specific to my tastes and/or needs?
Each of our recipes have been extensively tested and re-tested in our kitchen with our ingredients and our equipment. Given the time it takes to perfect a new product we are unable to specifically formulate or alter a recipe for an individual order.
How do I request a charitable donation?
Giving back to the community and supporting local/national charity organizations is very important to us as business owners. Unfortunately, given the number of requests we receive we are not able to contribute to every cause. You can download our full donation policy and request form here. Request forms must be submitted in person to the bakery. No mailed, emailed or faxed requests will be considered.
How do I apply for a job?
If you think you’d be a great addition to our team, please fill out our We review all inquiries and will contact you to discuss next steps if there is an opening available that fits your skill set. Applications via phone, email or walk-in to the bakery will not be considered.
Industry Specific +
Do you loan out your cakes for photo shoots or promotional events?
Our display cakes are created for use in our shop or for photo shoots and/or events in which we are a principal participant. Therefore, they are not typically available for loan or rent. We do occasionally consider requests depending on the purpose of the shoot, the intended audience and our availability. All requests must be made in advance.
Do you wholesale your products?
Because our current objective is to operate a hands-on, small production kitchen we do not offer our cakes and/or baked goods at discounted prices for the purpose of re-sale.
